There are steps up to the front door of the property and tiered garden. There is also a step between rear entrance hall and kitchen.
Up to four well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
Day entry passes to Castle Howard valid for the day of your choice (subject to seasonal public opening times, please click here for more information). The house and gardens are open seasonally (usually from around April to October), however please make sure to check before you visit and book ahead.
Guests will receive a £20 voucher to use at the Castle Howard's Farm Shop, along with a pint of milk, tea bags, and Nespresso Vertuo coffee pods.
Children/infants welcome, however not exceeding the maximum capacity of 4 guests in total. Infant equipment is not provided.
Initial wood supply provided in baskets by the wood burning stoves.

The Green is a really lovely property in a beautiful village, with a great secure garden for dogs and a lovely place to sit in the sun, enjoying the birdsong. Having free access to Castle Howard Estate and the Arboretum for the week was a real bonus! I would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Ideal holiday house for 3 of us and two dogs. Everything was there that we needed. House and garden is very dog friendly and a couple of excellent dogs walks straight from the front door. Also lovely to be given a free pass to Castle Howard and being able to walk round the gardens. Well located and good pubs nearby.
