Use of owner’s freezer and washing machine.. Enclosed garden with patio. Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: No children under 16 years old.. This wonderful setting has something for everyone and is an ideal location, especially for walkers and cyclists. Dalby Forest is in walking distance, along with numerous walking and cycling trails, whilst railway enthusiasts can enjoy a trip on the famous steam train running from Pickering to Whitby. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, there are quaint villages in abundance such as Thornton-le-Dale, Hutton-le-Hole and Goathland, to name but a few, along with traditional market towns such as Malton and Helmsley.
Seek out smugglers coves at Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes, or for those looking for a romantic break, wander from Sandsend to Whitby along the clear sandy beaches or marvel at the amazing stars on a clear night. There are stately homes to visit at Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall and the Abbey ruins at Rievaulx. And don’t miss visiting Yorkshire’s ancient walled city of York with its iconic minster and renowned museums is just 30 miles away. All these attractions are easily accessible. Shops 5 miles (Pickering), pubs 1 mile, occasional bistro on-site.
