The Yard is located in the village of Sherburn which lies between the market town of Malton, Yorkshire's food capital, and the pretty seaside resort of Scarborough.
Sherburn has 2 villages stores, a fish and chip shop and half a mile out of the village an award winning farm shop and butchers.
Dalby Forest is a 15 minute drive away with activities including GoApe and mountain biking.
