Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. On arrival you are welcomed by the private driveway, with the enclosed garden beyond. Follow the pathway past the flower beds with steps down to the property, where you have a patio with a seating area. With such a large garden you can chase the sun, enjoying both breakfast and evening meals al fresco, surrounded by blossoming flowers and swaying trees.

Step inside through glass doors which open into the dining room with the kitchen. Bathed in light this is great room for socialising as you create meals to enjoy together. This property boasts both a large living room with a feature gas stove as well as a separate cosy snug. Ideal for large families or groups of friends, as well as spending evenings together, you have the option of having your own space to unwind. Children can watch their favourite cartoons on one Smart TV whilst you can watch something more grown up on the other Smart TV. Downstairs is completed with both a handy utility room as well as a shower room with a rainforest shower. Upstairs you have four bedrooms, a double, two zip and link bedrooms which can be made up as super kings on request as well as the master king bedroom which is under the eaves, where you can wake up to beautiful garden views.

This destination is an ideal choice for guests who love the great outdoors, you are in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with the coastline of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey less than 30 minutes away by car. There is storage for bikes at the property & direct access to the nearby Dalby Forest straight from the front door. Dalby Forest has a range of bike and walking trails to suit all abilities, and there are some fabulous cycle routes over the surrounding moorland. Your dog is welcome to join you on your stay and they are sure to have the holiday of a lifetime, exploring the countryside.

The charming village of Thornton Le Dale is a delight, old fashioned friendliness with an unhurried pace of life. The village has everything you could need, 2 pubs serving food and county beers on draft, a fish and chip shop and an artisan pizzeria, yet still retains its quaint village beauty, with the chocolate box thatched cottages and historic Alms houses.

Only a few miles away is the traditional Yorkshire market town of Pickering, which combines atmospheric old inns, 12th-century castle, museum and the North York Moors Railway. The ancient City of York is just 26 miles away and offers the majestic minster, the fascinating Jorvik Viking Centre, the Castle Museum, the National Railway Museum, and excellent shopping facilities.

Castle Howard, Nunnington Hall (National Trust), Duncombe Park, and Rievaulx Abbey, are just a few of the local treasures to discover. On the east coast lie the popular seaside resorts of Scarborough, 15 miles, and Filey, 19 miles, the serene fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay and the captivating old port of Whitby 20 miles, with its Captain Cook connections, as well as miles of sandy beaches and a colourful harbour. Just a 10-minute drive away visitors can enjoy Flamingo Land Theme Park and zoo or Dalby Forest, where there is a plethora of woodland walks, a visitor’s centre, picnic areas, bikes to hire and the popular “Go Ape” treetop zip lines. This is an ideal choice all year round as the National Park is gorgeous in all seasons.
