We have an exciting relaunched cafe/bar on the premises and is open from 10am-8pm weekdays and 9.30am-4pm weekends. We are liscenced and have a great Pizza menu served from 3pm-8pm weekdays, no need to book just rollup and enjoy!

the lodge was very nice but could do with a lick of paint inside, bed was very uncomfortable, and lots of noise from road outside, wondered why there was a pack with ear plugs in, there were a lot of lovely little extras like vanity kit, cleaning kit, robes and slippers for hot tub.

Good sized lodge, and nice and cosy in the autumn weather. The lodges are right next to a busy 60mph road, so it was very noisy most of the time, but there's not much they can do about that. There was a terrible smell of drains outside of the lodge when we arrived, then by the next morning, the smell was in both bathrooms and disgusting. We contacted the owner, who said he'd get someone out to check it, but by the time we had left it still stank. The lodge is ill equipped for a family of 4. The kitchen had 4 knives/forks etc and 4 plates/bowls, which is not enough. Location is good for visiting local towns, we went to Scarborough, York, Whitby and Pickering. All within a 45 mins drive.
