This property is a rare find, built on the grounds adjacent to Sneaton Castle. You’ll be close to the town centre but with four large bedrooms sleeping up to eight and a hot tub and games room, you might not want to leave. The lounge area has two four-seater sofas, a padded footstool, a Smart TV and patio doors to the rear garden. The dining area has a large wooden table with eight matching chairs, and the kitchen has all the necessary mod-cons as well as a handy Tassimo coffee machine. Head up to the first floor and find the first two bedrooms. These comprise an en-suite king-size with a Smart TV and patio doors to the balcony with a bistro table and two chairs, and a zip-and-link super-king-size (which can be a twin upon request) with a Smart TV and an easy chair. This second room has the use of a bathroom with a shower over a bath. Up to the second floor and you’ll find the final two bedrooms. Both are zip-and-link king-size rooms (which can be twins upon request) with Smart TVs, and views of Whitby Abbey and the sea, and the moors respectively. Full Sky Cinema, Sky Sports and BT Sport packages are available on all TVs. Through the French doors from the living room, you can reach a patio with a lovely seating area in a south-facing garden. Additionally, there is a summer house which contains an exciting games room with a dartboard alongside a seating area for two with a PS4. Furthermore, there is another separate seating area for two people to enjoy some retro arcade gaming with 3,442 of the very best games from arcade history, including Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Space Invaders and many more classics. The adjacent covered area encloses a seven-seater hot tub for all-year-round use.
Whitby is a very popular seaside town retaining old-world character and has lots of events throughout the year. Whatever your interests, there is something for everyone in the locality, historic castles, even older abbeys, museums, farms, walking, cycling, superb local markets with the very best Yorkshire produce and, of course, restaurants and tea rooms too numerous to mention. Enjoy the sea air while taking a walk around the harbour or watch the spectacle of the swing bridge opening and tall yachts sailing through. Further afield but still on your doorstep, you have the stunning North York Moors National Park where you can spend hours walking and enjoying the views and the wildlife.
