There is a fire alarm test every Tuesday between 9.30am and 10.30am.No e-bikes, e-scooter, mobility scooters or their batteries can be charged or stored in the building (including the undercroft parking) as this contravenes the fire safety regulations. There is no facility to charge electric cars on the development, but there are several E-Car chargers available in Whitby. No candles lit in the property please. Please note: No evac chair is available in case of fire. The water is heated by an immersion heater, the switch is situated in the hall cupboard.

Fantastic accommodation, very clean and well equipped. Location great for walk into whitby. Very easy to find. Visited with my daughter and the crabbing at higher tide was excellent 😂Would definitely consider staying here again should we come to Whitby again.

The flat is in a nice apartment block overlooking the water, with the NYMR steam engine running passed regularly on the far bank.Car parking in the undercroft gated area is TBH an absolute nightmare, the entrance is ridiculously narrow and the allocated space is in a corner and very small/tight to get into. The whole area generally difficult to negotiate without extreme care. I certainly wouldn't want to try and park a Jaecoo in the space due to the cars width. Trying not to scratch anything is a two person job and is a bit like playing roulette. It would have been nice to have some additional handy items left rather than the standard issue basics. Salt & Pepper, tin foil in the kitchen as well as a fan due to the recent extreme heat. The fridge was also left on the warmest setting of 1. Meaning our chicken purchased from the local supermarket on arrival, was lovely and warm when we went to use it some 4 hours later. We obviously changed the settings once we realised.Cleanliness throughout was ok, however the lounge floor was obviously cleaned with a dirty mop and felt sticky underfoot.
