The accommodation, all on one level is entered from the fabulous decked veranda and comprises; main entrance hall with double doors opening into a beautiful sitting room with an open fire, flat screen TV, DVD & Freesat.

The sitting room is very sunny and light and has sliding glass doors leading back to the veranda with breath-taking views of the coastline.

The large kitchen/diner is well equipped with modern appliances including fridge/freezer and washing machine. French doors open onto a private rear terrace/garden area with outside seating for al fresco dining.

The lovely master bedroom, with its plantation-style shuttered windows have views out to sea and is spacious. A charming twin bedroom has two full size 3′ beds and storage with a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

The house bathroom has a bath with a shower over, WC and hand wash basin.

Outside is a spacious decked sun veranda with table, chairs and BBQ and views of the coastline. There is a lawned garden area with flowers and shrubs. The cottage has the advantage of private, on-drive parking.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
