Bankside is an easily accessible ground floor apartment with luxurious décor throughout, in a contemporary style with a light traditional twist. A a spacious living/dining/kitchen area, shower room and two luxurious bedrooms. Set within Whitehall Landing, a sought-after development, there are communal grounds that can be enjoyed by guests and even a communal children’s play area to keep your kids busy on quieter days. The apartment has one allocated parking space but other visitor spaces are potentially available if needed. Unfortunately mobility scooters are not allowed on the site and there are no electric car charging facilities.
Whitby is one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque coastal fishing towns, with a bustling harbour, narrow cobbled streets, old fishermen’s cottages and historic abbey. This atmospheric place has plenty to offer visitors, whether you choose to experience the traditional seaside charm, or something slightly less conventional like the annual Goth Festival. Beach 1.7 miles. Beach 1¾ miles. Shop 700 yards, pub 500 yards and restaurant 350 yards.

Amazing find! We absolutely loved our home from home holiday at Bankside. Incredibly clean, well located and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Our only recommendation would be for a comfy mattress topper, as we didn’t find the bed too comfy (but of course mattresses are a personal preference!).

Lovely accommodation but no control over heating locked so couldn’t go up or down on settings. Allergic reaction to bedding so had very swollen eyes. Would have been much better rated with the heating a very big issue

Lovely apartment with all the equipment and facilities you need for a stay. The bathroom was well decorated , and had a modern shower and plenty of storage for toiletries etc. Modern decoration throughout, and comfy beds. We would certainly go back again. The only reason for 4 stars instead of five was that guests have no control over the heating - you have to ring the owner each time you want it turning up or down. Also, when we arrived, the cleaner had sprayed air freshener or some strong floral product into the hall carpet and on the bedding. As my partner is asthmatic this brought on an asthma attack and we had to get different bedding before we could go to bed. The final downtick was that two toilet rolls were provided for 3 guests...but the lack of loo rolls seems to be a common theme in all accomodation these days and we brought additional ones with us.
