Bankside is an easily accessible ground floor apartment with luxurious décor throughout, in a contemporary style with a light traditional twist. A a spacious living/dining/kitchen area, shower room and two luxurious bedrooms. Set within Whitehall Landing, a sought-after development, there are communal grounds that can be enjoyed by guests and even a communal children’s play area to keep your kids busy on quieter days. The apartment has one allocated parking space but other visitor spaces are potentially available if needed. Unfortunately mobility scooters are not allowed on the site and there are no electric car charging facilities.
Whitby is one of Yorkshire’s most picturesque coastal fishing towns, with a bustling harbour, narrow cobbled streets, old fishermen’s cottages and historic abbey. This atmospheric place has plenty to offer visitors, whether you choose to experience the traditional seaside charm, or something slightly less conventional like the annual Goth Festival. Lovely flat, easy 10 minute walk along the harbour into town. Parking right by the flat. Nice view out the windows onto harbour, steam train going passed as well as fish leaping in the river.

A lovely holiday in superb accomodation. Everything you could need for your stay with a complimentary box of biscuits and prosecco. The bedrooms were ideal size and comfortable, living rooms/kitchen was great size with all required comforts to make it feel really homely. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend.

The apartment was very spacious, very well situated for easy walking access into Whitby. The living room has a good view across the Eske and there is a pleasant short easy walk from the property to the nearby riverside nature reserve. The kitchen is extremely well equipped even having a teapot which seems to be unusual in holiday properties these days. Although we stayed during a heatwave we found the living room and front bedroom comfortable provided the blinds were closed against the afternoon sun. My only minor quibble is the absence of a soap dish in the well designed shower.
