The accomodation was just perfect, spotlessly clean, comfortable furnishings and beds and the property contained everything needed for the stay.We have done this holiday every year since the grandchildren was small but this is the first time we have stayed in Glaisdale and realised what a lovely quiet village it is.The views from the garden and property are absolutely stunning and the kids loved the cows, chickens geese and the pig in the meadows just over our hedge. To sum up the holiday, property, views and the village made everything 100% and I will certainly look forward to a return visit if my health allows .

The house had everything you needed and very convenient to have the two bathrooms. We came to celebrate my dad's 75th and he had a wonderful time We loved the quietness of the area and of course the wonderful farm animals who came to visit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of the world. My only constructive feedback would be: 1. Sound proofing- both internally and externally. Could hear literally everything from the room below and any noises outside (the cockerels woke us up a couple of times but luckily the area is very quiet generally) 2. Nowhere really within walking distance. The pub, as others have said is a LONG walk down and an even longer and harder walk back. We preferred the pub in Lealholme which we calculated is actually nearer too. It's central for lots of beautiful places to visit in the area but all are about 20-30 mins drive. 3. The outside area could be so much nicer. It's a great spot and I imagine you could charge significantly more if there was a bit of a garden instead of the gravel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The property was spotless, incredibly well stocked and appreciated the little touches from the owner. It's such a beautiful part of the country and my parents loved their stay and would love to return

It was really comfortable, clean, quiet and very well equipped. The view from the barn was spectacular. It was very close to most places of interest . The Wheatsheaf pub at Egton was well worth a visit, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.
