This was one of my favourite places to stay. From the very warm welcome to a sumptuous welcome basket everything was perfect. A tastefully decorated house in a very quiet location with easy access to local restaurants and shops. Easy parking made it perfect to drive out and about. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Cant recommend this property highly enough. We arrived early with a view to parking up and going for a walk until check in time, but Mark, the owner came out to greet us and said we could unload the car straight away. The property is the best equipped we've stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot) and it was absolutely spotless and smelled lovely. Mark showed us how to turn the heating up and gave us a lovely welcome with a very thoughtful hamper for our arrival. It had essentials like bread, butter, milk, orange juice and jam and little luxuries like cake, chocolate, crisps, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. The furnishings were great quality, comfortable and cozy. The bed was really comfortable and it was so quiet, we even slept in! The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk down to the harbour (uphill coming back so save some energy)Everything about our stay was amazing and we will most certainly be coming back. Thank you Mark for your wonderful hospitality, we loved our stay at Downdinner Hill
