This is the best apartment we have ever stayed in. Very clean, had everything we needed. Liked the idea of codes to get in and out and the secure parking. Train noise was minimal and didn't bother us at all. My Dad loved seeing the steam trains pulling into the station as it reminded him of when he worked on them years ago. The apartment was very easy access all on one level, this was good for my Dad as he is disabled. We loved the apartment so much we have already booked and paid for next year.

Very helpful house keeper, secure parking, spacious, very clean and comfortable, with an ideal location. 4 year old grandson was so excited to see the steam train from the apartment windows.

You enter the side of the old engine shed in to a luxurious hall way. Flying Scotsman is the first Apartment you come to and thoughit is on the first floor with the beautiful exposed beams it is actually flat and level access to the secure car park (Unusual in Whitby) and on to the street. The Apartment is very clean and very well appointed with 2 generous bedrooms and sleeps five, a large Reception room with Kitchen looks out over Whitby to the Abbey and just below is the Railway line with both Network Rail and Steam line to Pickering using the station. A grand vantage point to watch the Steam trains and as it is a terminus there are no trains rushing by and so don't disturb the occupants. Train times anyhow are infrequent and at social able hours. A real 10 out of 10 stay
