Guests consistently mention its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and the bonus of a parking space. The property is ideal for families and groups, with games and guides provided, making for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with guests describing the cottage as spotless, beautifully presented, and well maintained. Only minor wear and tear was noted by a few, but overall impressions are overwhelmingly positive.
The location is a standout feature, with guests loving the proximity to Whitby’s attractions, harbour views, and easy access to the Abbey. The steep walk and driveway are mentioned but generally accepted as part of the area’s charm.
Guests found the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds and a welcoming atmosphere. Some noted low ceilings and steep stairs as potential issues for taller guests or those with mobility concerns, but most found the living areas spacious and relaxing.
The cottage is well equipped, with good kitchen amenities, clear instructions, games, and reliable heating. Occasional minor maintenance issues were quickly resolved, and the parking space is a valued asset.
Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome biscuits, coffee, books, and games for families. Please note that these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Wonderful properly and great location with phenomenal views. Highly recommended. Two very minor points 1) A little challenging to reach from the front via a winding ‘cliff side’ stair case (much easier to approach from the property back main road!). 2) Mattresses were a little firm.

Well located with off street parking - although steep and awkward to reverse into especially when the neighbouring space is in use. Modern kitchen, comfortable lounge. For the price we paid, and given the weather was nice - we enjoyed our stay and would return again.
