A mere 5-10 minute stroll takes you to the cinder track, a scenic walking route that meanders into Whitby or leads in the opposite direction to the charming coastal destinations of Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar and Scarborough. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a spacious living room adorned with beamed ceilings, plush sofas, and a wood burner. The open-plan kitchen flows into the dining area, with a large table for sociable gatherings. The kitchen boasts underfloor heating, a breakfast island and a double oven for family feasts. We had a lovely stay at Larpool Mews. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We didn’t find much information about local walks- Cinder Track, recommended pubs, cafés etc which would have been helpful, especially with dogs. Thank you

Such a lovely place to stay! The property is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and make the most of your break. Every little detail has been thought of, making it feel like a real home away from home. The location is ideal, offering peace and quiet but as it is just a couple of minutes drive from Whitby you are still being close to everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a super getaway.

Super location and very nice cottage. Very well equipped as everything you could ever need and more was supplied. Slightly put out by lots of “stuff” randomly stored in drawers which should have been available for clothing etc. A little tired in places and could do with a bit of TLC. Master bedroom and second bedroom beautiful. The remainder of cottage could do with upgrading. Sofas in lounge need replacing, some items of furniture very flimsy, couldn’t figure out TV in kitchen as no aerial. Maybe someone could attend and give the bins a clean out too! Also advise when bins should be put out as had not been emptied prior to our arrival or during our stay.
