Our stay would have been nice, however, there were some considerable downsides to staying at Little Pythorn. It is on a working farm so we expected some noise from machinery etc, however, the owners have in excess of 12 dogs, who appear to live in the barn behind the cottage, and bark continuously in the early morning and late into the evening, in excess of 10pm. This sort of noise was not expected. The cottage itself was not as clean as expected; the floor was littered with 'bits' and the upstairs door had quite considerable mould growing up the stone and across the floor unfortunately. The cottage itself is well equipped and great for self catering, the location is good for getting out and doing things or enjoying the peaceful moors, and the shower was lovely.
