Parking with permit in nearby car park; additional on road parking. No smoking.. Millers Haven is a modern second floor apartment located right in the heart of the bustling town of Whitby. It is in a complex of 24 apartments called Union Mill that are named after the co-operative mill that was built there in the early 1800’s. It boasts of views of Whitby Abbey from most rooms and you can also enjoy the view over the rooftops in Whitby. It is a spacious, bright apartment with original artwork, tasteful décor and furnished to a very high standard. The property has eco- friendly, underfloor heating throughout that is provided by an air source heat pump and gives the apartment a cosy, welcoming feel to it. There is a secure entry system with either stairs to the apartment or a lift which is especially convenient for guests with limited mobility. The owner will provide you with parking permit to use in the Leisure Centre car park situated just 200 yards from the property where you can also enjoy swimming, badminton or attending the many exercise classes available there. Millers Haven provides an excellent base for couples and families looking for a holiday by the sea-side or indeed to explore the pretty villages dotted along the North York Moors National Park areas. A 5-minute walk will bring you to either 3 miles of golden beach or to the heart of the town with an abundance of activities and amenities to suit all the family.

We had an absolutely superb stay at Millers Haven. Superb location and the apartment is spotlessly clean and in great condition with all you could want. We'll definitely return. One tiny thing that would be good is if there could be more ordinary knives in the cutlery drawer it would be great. There's loads of everything else - forks, spoons plus plenty of plates, mugs and glasses etc - but there were only 6 knives which we had to keep washing and re-using as there were 4 of us. Just a pack of 5 extra knives from a bargain shop (probably only £2) would solve that! Once again though, a brilliant stay!

This is our 2nd visit to Millers Haven and we really love it there. The 2 issues we commented on last time were assured would be rectified forthwith and indeed they were...much appreciated Jo!
