Recreation House is a lovely, large, modern and roomy property set in a modern housing estate. It is about 3/4 mile away from the harbour area, so well away from the hustle and bustle of old Whitby. There is a pleasant seating area to the back and parking for 1 vehicle to the front. The owner was able to support us when required, and we appreciated her prompt attention.

Well situated within Whitby, walkable distance to both beach and town, if a steep walk back!Clean pleasant townhouse - we felt it seemed a bit sparsely equipped in the kitchen but it actually had everything we required! Not tons of wardrobe/drawer storage in the lower bedroom but just about adequate for our 5 night stay. Seagulls quite noisy at night but it is the seaside!!Felt a little overlooked - as it's tucked between rows of houses but generally we would recommend the townhouse- we had a great time! Whitby is lovely
