Guests say

Sunset View in Whitby is highly praised for its cleanliness, stunning views, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the secure parking, though some find the spaces tight. The balcony and location are highlights, with easy access to town and attractions. A few minor maintenance issues are noted, but overall, the apartment is well-regarded as a peaceful and well-equipped holiday base.

The apartment consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean'. This suggests a very high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

The location is frequently praised for its proximity to Whitby harbour and attractions, as well as the views of Whitby Abbey and the sea. The walkability and convenience are appreciated, although the incline on the return walk is noted.

Comfort is a strong point, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the apartment warm and inviting. The balcony adds to the comfort factor, although one review mentioned the mattress toppings being too warm.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the secure parking and well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests experienced issues with parking space size, water pressure, and operating blinds, which slightly lowers the score.

Guests mention thoughtful touches like a welcome gift and binoculars, which enhance the experience. While these are appreciated, it's important to note that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

Secure parking a real bonus. Highly recommend.

The photos really do not do the view justice, the Abbey is visible from the sofa perfectly! Lovely layout and everything you could need or want is included. Parking is a massive bonus in Whitby, and wasn't too tricky for us as the carpark wasn't full, I imagine it can be a bit of a squeeze in peak season, but not impossible. The bed and linen was extremely comfortable, however me and my other half found the bed a little small (but we are a bit taller than most!) Bathroom extractor fan also seemed out of action. It didn't cause us any issues, but long term could be a problem so worth mentioning. A really wonderful stay and would recommend Sunset View in a heartbeat. Thank you!

The views are amazing, the decor is great and it is well maintained. There is plenty of crockery and cooking essentials. The lift is a bonus. Can’t fault anything about our stay. Hoping to stay again soon.
