With many public footpaths on the doorstep, this Aislaby cottage is a haven for outdoor lovers, whilst the nearby, numerous pretty coastal and inland villages are a delight to explore. The village of Aislaby is situated in the rolling countryside of the Esk Valley, overlooking Sleights and just three miles from Whitby. The village offers sandstone cottages and an old church. There are many small fishing villages and resort towns in the area, including Whitby, which is famous for its Abbey, reached by 199 steps.
