In addition to this, it is only a 5-minute walk into Whitby with its many bars, restaurants and attractions like Whitby Abbey and the harbour for boat trips. It is also in easy reach of Runswick Bay, and the quaint smuggler’s coves of Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes. Take the steam train across the North York Moors through ’Heartbeat’ country to Pickering. Nice place good location enjoyed the bank holiday weekend in Whitby . Nice little welcome pack with biscuits & a cake appreciated milk in the fridge as well . Everything was in good order & worked well . little tight with kitchen table with people sat to use fridge make a brew etc . Double bed was a little uncomfortableFor our liking . Also the request to strip the beds before we left & put it in the supplied bag was a little quirky .Had a nice time & the flat served us well bar the bed .
