It is equipped with a contemporary fitted kitchen, and unique additions such as a retro arcade machine and electric wood burner for those cold winter nights. The apartment is very near Whitby Pavillion and three miles of beautiful, sandy beach stretching to picturesque Sandsend. In addition to this, it is only a 5-minute walk into Whitby with its many bars, restaurants and attractions like Whitby Abbey and the harbour for boat trips. It is also in easy reach of Runswick Bay, and the quaint smuggler’s coves of Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes. Take the steam train across the North York Moors through ’Heartbeat’ country to Pickering. Fishing and golf can be found nearby.

This was our second visit to Sea Glimpse and as before, we were not disappointed. The apartment was spotless on arrival and the welcome goodies much appreciated. Sea Glimpse has absolutely everything you need for your holiday in Whitby and it is ideally situated for town, beach, supermarkets and petrol station. My only reason for giving 4 stars for Location is the parking situation. We were unable to find a parking spot anywhere nearby so decided to **** it up and park in the car park behind the church which always had spaces. I think the lack of parking was probably due to the Steam Punk festival weekend. It was great to sit in one of the coffee shops and watch people walk past in their extraordinary costumes. Whitby plays host to lots of different events over the summer so parking spaces are at a premium but if you canfind somewhere, then Darren supplies parking permits to cover your stay which is a bonus. We love Sea Glimpse, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable apartment in the perfect spot.
