A very nice stay in the upper floor of a barn conversion. Very peaceful and quiet. Castleton nearest village, 6 min drive or a 40 min walk through lovely scenery. Castleton has a co-op, post office, train station a couple of pubs and a lovely tearoom. Lovely hosts who are there if needed but are not intrusive. Granary had everything you need, comfy beds and a good shower. Wifi can be intermittent due to location. Can reach good places to visit from the granary, Whitby, Grosmont, Danby, etc I will definitely go back
