Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by an inviting sitting room, complete with a warming woodburning stove and a TV, perfect for those relaxing evenings in. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at the dining table.

As the day draws to a close, retire to one of the two welcoming bedrooms. The double bedroom benefits from an en-suite with a basin, heated towel rail, and WC, offering a private space to freshen up. The twin bedroom is equally as inviting while housing a handy utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer, perfect for those longer stays. A separate bathroom, complete with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC, serves the bedrooms. Outside, you will find an enclosed garden with a patio and gravelled area, complete with furniture. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink, whilst soaking up the serene surroundings.

Take a leisurely stroll and explore the captivating Whitby Abbey, an iconic structure that stands grandly over the town. Wander to the Whalebone Arch for a fragment of Whitby's whaling history, and enjoy the calm at Pannett Park, home to beautiful blooms and the fascinating Whitby Museum. For an eerie encounter, venture to the Dracula Experience Ltd, a tour that narrates the story of Dracula and the town's connection with the chilling tale. Hop in the car to nearby Robin Hood's Bay, home to a quaint beach ideal for a family day out, the informative National Trust - The Old Coastguard Station, and Robin Hood's Bay Museum, which recounts the village's smuggler history.

Head further afield to Middlesbrough, where you can visit the bustling Captain Cook Square, full of shops and eateries, and the peaceful Stewart Park. Lying on Yorkshire's spectacular Heritage Coastline, Sandsend is the ideal place for a family holiday with its award-winning, wide sweeping beaches, rock pools and dramatic cliffs. Indeed, this part of the coastline is known locally as the Dinosaur Coast because of the many fossils found here. Children will enjoy damming the little beck where it crosses the beach to form a freshwater lagoon - great (and safe) for paddling and boating! For the more energetic the village sits on the lovely long distance Cleveland Way Trail, which offers great off-road cycling along the disused coastal railway as well as breathtaking clifftop walks. The National Trust now own the nearby headland, Sandsend Ness, where there is a delightful nature trail in the old quarry pits. A special place offering something for everyone!
