Oakwood Lodges is part of our Autograph Lodge Holidays Collection and is conveniently located amidst the beautiful scenery of the picturesque Yorkshire Wolds. This small collection of stylish lodges provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, yet superbly located for exploring the many treasures along the Yorkshire coastline and historic York only a 20 minute drive away.
These luxury lodges have been stylishly furnished and all boast the added luxury of a contemporary outdoor decking area with hot tub and great views over either the picturesque small lake or across the lush green meadows. Take advantage of sumptuous in-lodge therapies or treat yourself to one of our pamper packs.
Guests will be asked to sign an agreement stating they will pay for any damage caused to the lodge during their stay when upon check-in.

We loved where our lodge was situated, at the end of the others in an extremely private spot, and our decking was also the place for frequent visitors from the pond. The hot tub was piping hot but the jets not terribly strong. The layout of the lodge itself was good and the decor pleasing. My personal choice would be not to have had the shower and bath in the bedroom but it did make it look all a little more luxurious! I would also have preferred a kingsize bed but, for a week, the double was adequate and comfortable.There were extra dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, tea towels and bin liners left for us as well as a small complementary tray of tea/coffee etc. No washing machine, but that wasn't a problem for us for a week, also just an under the counter fridge with a small freezer compartment which we struggled with but that's our own fault for bringing so much food!Our hostess, Gerry, we only met at the beginning and the end of our stay but she left us replacement towels in a plastic bag outside the lodge halfway through the week (very kind and very unusual!) and was available at any time should we have wanted her.Overall a lovely stay in a lovely part of the country.
