The cottage is noted for its comfortable furnishings and cosy atmosphere, with guests feeling at home. Some guests mention issues with heating, but the availability of a wood burner and additional heaters mitigates this concern.
The property is well-equipped with modern bathrooms and a kitchen that meets guests' needs. However, some guests experienced issues with the shower, hot water, and electric heaters, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

Staithes is within the North York Moors National Park so stunning scenery and traditional Yorkshire villages are in abundance. The village has a good local pub serving food, as well as a shop for essentials. Staithes is a great place for fossil hunting and in the summer you see many children enjoying searching the rock pools and crevices for these fossils. The village is like stepping back in time with its cobbled streets and quaint, quirky cottages that lead down to the harbour where you can sit and enjoy a drink with the locals at the pub. Staithes has now become a great artists retreat with an excellent art festival held every year.
The property is perfect for those walkers amongst you as you can walk along the clifftops following the trail to Whitby and further on the Robin Hood’s Bay and Ravenscar. Felicity House is in an amazing location and well equipped. Our only issue was with the shower and hot water which despite following the instructions was a bit hit or miss.

Beautiful cottage, spotless and very well equipped. Excellent bathrooms, cosy wood burner and perfectly situated with a parking space. Our only query were the electric heaters in the living room which were preset but never actually came on. Fortunately we could light the wood burner in the evening. Would definitely rebook.

Great little house, well equipped and modern throughout. I'd have no hesitation returning here for another holiday.
