The Forge is a cosy and well-appointed cottage praised for its peaceful location with sea views, making it an ideal base for exploring the coast. Guests appreciate the homely feel, the log burner, and the welcome pack, though one noted the need to wash kitchen items before use.
Most guests found the cottage very clean, but one guest mentioned having to wash kitchen items and finding dog hairs, suggesting a slight inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to coastal attractions, making it a recommended spot for visitors.
Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, especially highlighting the upstairs lounge and bedroom. However, one guest found the upstairs ensuite a bit tricky due to sloping ceilings.
The facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and a log burner. Parking is noted to be a bit tight, and one guest mentioned a preference for using the downstairs bathroom for showers.
The welcome pack with tea, cake, biscuits, and doggy treats was a delightful touch, though it's worth noting that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

This was our third stay in the forge. Lovely quiet location, beautiful cottage. Wasn’t as clean as I expected, we had a wash pans, plates etc before use and the floors had dog hairs on.
