Well equipped kitchen, lots of space. We had one small issue which the owner sorted quickly. Nice touches like the welcome packs, milk in the fridge and bathroom toiletries. Would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

Highly recommended!

The roof terrace is a nice feature. The cottage has excellent access to York. A 20 minute stroll to the centre of town, or a 3 minute walk to bus stops with frequent services in and out of town. There are several pubs in walking distance, and a Sainsbury local, as well as many take-away food shops Parking is easy, but could be a bit tight with a large car. The brief contacts we had with the owners were pleasant and friendly. My only comment is factual rather than negative, is that the stairs in the property are steep, there is a good rail, but if you have mobility issues, perhaps worth noting. (there is no picture of the stairs on the site).
