It was a nice base to visit York City. There was also a local bus service not far from accommodation to York if you didn't want to take the car.

A good base from which to drive to York and Whitby. Accommodation good and well equipped. Very helpful instructions from the owner, easy to locate. Stunning scenery. Would recommend.
