Had a lovely time, nice quiet site, 15 mins drive from York park and ride, we found a dog field 15 mins walk away, £8 for the hour, ate at the local Thai restaurant, can highly recommend.Lodge was lovely, very spacious, and bonus was the washer and dryer, having come back from York damp! Comfy beds, nice touches with toiletries available and cleaning stuff, felt cozy on a night, comfy beds and 2 bathrooms, and good WiFi which is important when away with the teen! Dog bed and bowls to use, was perfect for a weekend away in February

Great home from home. Very convenient to visit York with the park-and-ride bus not far away. Roger the owner was extremely helpful and we could’ve not asked for more information/instructions and equipment in the lodge. We hope to visit again soon.
