Had a lovely stay at cottage on the green. Welcome hamper was the best we have had. Cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated . Bed was very comfortable. And there was plenty of hot water. We will definitely stay again in the future. Keith & Paul ,Albert and Arthur the whippets

This is a fantastic little end terrace property, situated opposite the Green, very clean, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable and cosy place to stay. The property is a steady 2 mile walk into York or great local bus service. We would definitely stay here again.

Great cottage, everything you could need and welcome basket an added bonus. Bed linen spotless but a bit tired and duvet far too warm for time of year. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
