The cottage is ideal for a couple looking to spend some quality time together, with an open plan living space and an enclosed garden with a bubbling hot tub. Be greeted by a gravelled driveway where you can leave your vehicle before exploring the light and airy living area, with a sofa to unwind on with a cup of tea. There is a pale grey kitchen area hosting a ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, and a dining area to savour home-cooked meals together. Patio doors lead out to the south-facing garden; here you can take a leisurely seat on the furniture with the fire pit to keep warm and a hot tub to relax your muscles. As the evenings winds to a close, retire inside and prepare for the day ahead in the contemporary shower room before climbing into the double bed, with bedside tables to enjoy a good book. There is a village store to grab the essentials. A scenic drive will lead you to the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds to Burnby Hall Gardens for a quaint stroll that is steeped in history and there is Ellerker House Gardens for a wooded walk and peaceful ponds. Visit the picturesque city of York, where The York Minster is a magnificent sight to behold, and the York Shambles are a popular tourist destination for their charming medieval architecture.
