Entering from the front door past the pretty front garden, you are welcomed into the spacious sitting room, here you can relax on either of the two sofas or armchair with a Freeview TV to watch, styled in homely, cottage fashion with an open fire adding a classic touch. Head to the kitchen/diner to find a bright space with white-washed wood floors and home to a host of appliances to assist you in cooking up some lovely meals. A dining room with a grand charm and themes of soft yellows makes a wonderful room to come together for a family meal. Travel upstairs to find the bedrooms, with the master double featuring the largest space and elegant furnishings including a sparkling chandelier light fitting, along with an en-suite bathroom. A neat twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Three garden areas are shared with the owner's three other holiday homes on the grounds; a tree-lined lawned area to the side of the property features a garden table and chairs, while the picnic area further back behind the property is perfect for alfresco lunches and children can enjoy playing on the swing set here. The third area is a sophisticated landscaped seating area set upon gravel and decking, and next to this is the hot tub cabin, where a state-of-the-art hot tub rests beneath an enclosed cabin with a heated seating area and a changing space (use of the hot tub must be booked separately with the owner). The village of Dunnington has all you need for essentials and food, with a garage just down the road and a Costcutter in the village, as well as a couple of pubs. A five minute car ride away takes you to the park and ride bus service to bring you into the centre of York where an abundance of attractions await; visit the stunning York Minster which has been a centre of Christianity in the north of England since the 7th century, it is one of the largest in Europe. The fully reconstructed Viking village at JORVIK Viking Centre is a must for any historian or Viking enthusiast, complete with sights and smells and an adjoining museum. The York Dungeon features a gory exhibit about the horrors of the past, while the York Castle Museum has a more relaxed exhibit with a recreated Victorian cobbled street, even with costumed guides! York is home to several gardens and parks to enjoy, as well as having the River Ouse run right through the centre, so you can stop at one of the many eateries and restaurants by the riverside and enjoy a tasty meal and drink.
