The detached accommodation comprises a cosy bedroom with en-suite shower room, a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen, large sitting room, adjoining dining area with french doors and convenient second shower room.
One of the highlights of the cottage can be found in the sitting room where the original forge with corbelled vault canopy and oak beam takes pride of place. A lovely wood burning stove sits in the hearth ready to create a cosy atmosphere when cooler winter nights draw in.
The dining area with antique wooden table and chairs features french windows that open on to a delightful cobbled patio and raised garden area. Equipped with a two person bistro set, barbecue area and handy covered store for bicycles, the private outdoor space is a fantastic spot to enjoy morning coffee in the sunshine or sit with a good book on lazy afternoons in the sunshine.
Forge Croft is the perfect accommodation for two guests. The cosy bedroom features a comfortable zip and link bed with the flexibility to be configured as either a super-king or twin single beds. Unusually for a one bedroom property, the cottage boasts two shower rooms giving guests the luxury of plenty of space to get ready in the morning.

Such a lovely, comfortable, well equipped cottage with super decoration and quirky relics of the cottages past history. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. There are lovely walks in the local area and plenty of interesting places to visit.

Beautifully presented and homely feel, lovingly cared for by the hosts. We stayed for 3 nights and the level of finish and attention to detaill was evident at every turn. It was especially welcome that we were offered a lighter tog quilt, something that is very unusual, most places are all 10.5 summer and winter! Thanks for a relaxing and rejuvinating retreat. :)
