We just love this pod’s location which is just a stone’s throw from the village pub. It also has a private hot tub and is ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds, York and the East Coast.. 1 step to entrance.

Had a good stay, the communications upfront were clear and helpful. Unfortunately I tried to change the dates a few weeks in advance due to changes in personal life and the host wasn't flexible with amending dates, and stated outright that refund wasn't an option. Cabin itself as described, the hot tub was great. Good shower with nice water presure and the cabin was very warm. Clean indoors, the front porch looked poorly looked after and covered in webs. Check in was easy but nobody was present during checkout so after waiting some time, I left the keys somewhere and sent the host a photo for clarity. Most amenities were there but the host didn't provide any handsoap which would have been nice, but obviously no deal breaker. Overall recommend this cabin for weekend breaks however given this wasn't a busy holidays periods, would say this is more expensive than I'd have expected.

The idea of a private pod with a hot tub sounded lovely, but the reality didnt match expectations. Firstly, we were given just one toilet roll for two people staying five days. When we asked for another, we were told wed need to go and get it ourselves because there was only one member of staff. Not exactly great hospitality. The food was also very poor. We both ordered the lasagne and it was dry, tasteles, and definitely not worth the money. drinks were shocking too.. £7 a pint is steep. main reasons we booked was the hot tub, but then found out you cant use your private hot tub after 10pm. It also wasnt as private as advertised, which was disappointing for an anniversary stay. Kind of kills the romantic vibe when youre on a curfew like its Year 9 prom. The pod itself was lacking basics. No microwave, just a poor hob and toaster. the light bulbs inside constantly flickered the whole stay, which was really irritating. If your husband is built large, cant sit on the loo.
