With wonderful views and offering peace and relaxation, one of a select group of just six, this single storey, detached holiday lodge has been tastefully furnished to a very good standard. The holiday property lies midway between Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, which makes an ideal location for touring by car or by bike (storage available), or simply walking from the door in the lovely countryside. Pickering is the home to the NYM Steam Railway, whilst Helmsley has a good range of shops, restaurants and inns. Castle Howard, Duncombe Park, the city of York and the coastal resorts of Scarborough and Whitby all make excellent days out. Indian restaurant and pub in village. Award winning farm shop 1 mile. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ miles.

Loved the location, & the Lodge. So peaceful & only a a few miles to lots of places of interest. Great near by walks if you fancy a no driving day. The Lodge was great, so clean attention to detail deserves top marks. The veiw was wonderful from the outside seated area. I will be returning for sure.

Lovely location.Beautiful view.Noisy dogs in the distance. Only an issue on hot nights when windows open, and obviously not owner's fault.Tidy place with good facilities and things to do on rainy days.Thoroughly enjoyed.
