If you’re looking for a getaway with a difference, then look no further than Keldholme Shepherds Hut. Open plan throughout it features a plush double bed, Smart TV, a delightful sitting area with wood burner to snuggle up in front of on those colder evenings and a modern kitchenette complete with a two ring gas hob, fridge, combi microwave oven/grill and enough storage and workspace to prepare a meal for two. In a mini separate shepherd’s hut attached, is a fully fitted shower room. The enclosed garden offers a covered decked area with seating along with a separate seating area which presents a firepit and barbecue, both giving you a fantastic space to relax and have a drink al fresco style after a day’s adventuring.
The Shepherds Hut is dog friendly, and there are miles of walking trails and public footpaths to explore during your visit. The Heritage Coast, Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s Bay are all within easy reach. A visit to this area wouldn’t be complete without a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Some of the stations along the Pickering to Whitby route have featured in the Harry Potter films! The historic city of York is under 40 minutes from Keldholme which is where you will find The Shambles, believed to be the inspiration behind Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter books an films. Whilst in York you can visit the medieval cathedral, York’s Chocolate Story or enjoy a little retail therapy. We had a lovely two night stay at the Keldholme Shepherd's Hut last week and it was very enjoyable. The hut is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a short break. We loved the patio and garden. The little welcome basket was an added bonus and the owners were very helpful. Would definately recommend this place.

We were looking for a weekend away from the normal day to day.This location certainly gave us what we needed!The owner came to check everything was ok shortly after our arrival, the local information provided was really appreciated, as was the welcome pack left for us!We would certainly recommend this location for anyone looking for a bit of downtime!

We had a lovely stay at Keldholme shepherd's hut.We found it clean and had everything we needed.The welcome hamper was a lovely touch too.Peter was very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of great walks close by too.Great for us as we had our dog with us.We would definately stay again.
