It was better equipped than many of the cottages I have stayed in. The owners are thoughtful and while I had been asked if I would like some milk, etc. I was gratefully surprised to be treated by a bottle of cold water in the fridge and a fan in the bedroom. It was peaceful, had a lovely view, a porch to sit out on and was at the centre of many places to visit.

    Beautiful and relaxing week away

  • Julie Bolton

We had a very good week at the lodge, we were upgraded to the Wren Lodge which was beautiful. I have to say it was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in, immaculate. It is ideally situated for visiting the coast (approx 40 minutes) and the local village of Helmsley was well worth a visit too, the bakery was amazing. We had the most relaxing week ever. Thank you so much Helen.Julie & Martin
