We had a lovely stay at Lawns cottage, it was very clean and comfortable. Helmsley is just a walk away, with a great range of shops - including some excellent food shops. The birds of prey centre was lovely, we could have stayed all day enjoying the flying displays. Pickering also is just a short drive away and the best of the towns in the area with easy parking and unusual shops.

Lovely cottage very well equipped. It was lovely and clean very cozy with a lovely big garden. We did travel with a dog and our dog loved the garden one thing I will say is the garden is not enclosed. It goes straight out onto the road. Our dog is not an escape artist and just stays with us but for anybody’s dog that likes to wonder that might be a problem. The road however is very quiet only people that live down there and a few tractors come down it was pitch black at night. There are torches in the Cottage and lights around the cottage. There is lots to do around the area and Helmsley is only about a mile and a half down the road and has everything you need. We loved the area and found plenty of things to do.

Lawns cottage is set in a little lane lined with beautiful, old Yorkshire Stone cottages. It is blissfully quiet and is close to many popular attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
