After an adventurous day, you will delight in the family shower room, with a large walk-in shower to wash away those aching muscles. This property boasts two spacious double bedrooms, both sporting dressing tables, so you can prepare for your day in style, with wonderful views across the city. During the warmer months, step outside to the gravelled garden area to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining before strolling into the city centre, where you will find a large selection of traditional pubs, restaurants and a variety of independent shops to explore.

York is a historic walled city in North Yorkshire, England, with the River Ouse running straight through. The city was founded by the Romans in 71 AD, dating the city back almost two thousand years ago, however evidence has been found that the city could have been inhabited between 8000 and 7000 BC. With so many attractions to see in the city and a variety of local pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area.

The property is spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, everything you need in the well equipped kitchen, including appliances which are straightforward to use, and a cosy lounge. The welcome pack is very generous and the owner is friendly and helpful. Parking is right outside the property with no access issues. York city centre is a 30 minute walk which can either be through Clementhorpe, with its local shops or along the river. There is also a regular bus service into the city. This was our second visit to The Cottage and it wonât be our last. Brilliant in every way.
