Maple Cottage was perfect for our relaxing winter getaway; a traditional authentic cottage that is cosy and welcoming. We know this area well so we were very lazy, but there's much of interest nearby.

A quaint, comfortable and well equipped cottage in an amazing location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas with the cottage beautifully decorated. There are many circular walks from the cottage, details in the cottage folder and we enjoyed exploring towns and villages including York, Whitby, Malton, Pickering and Helmsley. Tip for car parks, most we used only accepted cash. Highlights for us were Wetherby Races and Castle Howard.Definitely a holiday to remember.

Stayed between October 10th to October 17th.This was one of the most unique and quirky cottages we have stayed in. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The welcome pack was a nice added surprise. Shower was nice and powerful. Communication with Susan and Philip was excellent throughout the whole stay. A good central location to everywhere we planned to go. Would highly recommend this quaint little cottage and we'd love to return. Thank you Mark & Vickie
