Being at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, this is a relatively undiscovered area which inspired the paintings of David Hockney. There are numerous attractions to visit including The Deep, a spectacular aquarium in Hull, and the Jorvik Centre and magnificent minster in York. The historic market town of Beverley is just a 20 minute drive and the coastal resorts of Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough along with the North York Moors are all easily accessible. Golf, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and horse riding are available locally and the owner is happy to share his extensive local knowledge, giving advice on walks, cycle routes and nature reserve locations.
