Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, warm central heating, and proximity to a pub and shop. The cottage's charm and location are highlights, contributing to an enjoyable experience.

Cleanliness is a concern for some guests, with reports of cobwebs, a dirty bath, and a dusty environment. However, the cottage is described as well-equipped and very clean by one reviewer, indicating inconsistencies in cleaning standards.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to a pub, shop, and park and ride service. It is also conveniently situated for visiting nearby family and accessing main roads for further exploration.

The cottage is generally considered comfortable, with a home-from-home feel, good central heating, and comfortable sofas. However, some guests noted issues with bedding and a smell of cigarette smoke in the lounge.

Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. However, maintenance issues such as a leaky sink, broken window stay, and intermittent hot water detract from the overall experience.

The Plus side - The position of the accommodation was perfect for me to visit my daughter who is within walking distance of the property. The accommodation is close to bus links as well as short drive to Grimston Bar park and ride, the main a roads are easy to access to venture further afield. The central heating was easy to use and the house was warm. The Kitchen was well equippedThe Lounge area has two comfortable good size sofas wifi tv and dvd player. There is a parking space to the rear of the property. The down side - sadly the property was not very clean, In the bathroom- there were cobwebs on the ceiling that appeared to have been there for some time, The hot tap on the wash hand basin was just a trickle and took some time to fill up the sink. The Main bedroom - there appeared to be clean bedding however the bottom sheet had bleach marks and water stains on it, not a good look.Towels were provided but one in particular was dirty with what appeared to be lipstick stains, fortunately I had brought along my own towels. There were also cobwebs in the hall stairs and landing and the property appeared to be very dusty. The Lounge had the smell of cigarette smoke. It was only on the last day did we discover the information pack which was buried under boxes of jigsaw puzzles, beneath the TV. This info would have been best placed on the coffee table in clear view. The Kitchen - there was a bowl half full of water under the sink???? I have given this property a low rate because of the poor attention to detail. If I was reviewing just the location it would be 5 stars.

The cottage had cobwebs in the corner of every room which had clearly been there some time. We had to clean the bath before we could let our son use it. The kitchen had at best had a superficial clean and the kitchen sink had a bowl of half full water underneath, presumably to catch an unfixed leak? The light on the landing did not work, windows were dirty and the one in the main bedroom had a broken window stay, some windows still have th stickers on the glass from when they were installed. In general the place is tired and needs some TLC and deep cleaning. Good location near the village pub and bus stop right outside if you want to catch it into the city. Parking at the rear, this is tight so it’s roadside parking if you have a 4x4 which is easily available.
