Guests are charmed by the picturesque village setting and the cosy, well-furnished cottages. The proximity to local amenities, including a welcoming pub and delightful eateries, adds to the appeal. The serene environment and cleanliness are consistently praised, making for a pleasant stay.
The cottages are frequently described as spotless, with particular mention of comfortable beds and pristine bedding. One isolated complaint about a dirty pan suggests a generally high standard of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. The lack of mobile reception is noted, but the village's charm compensates for this minor inconvenience.
Overall, guests find the cottages comfortable, with cosy living areas and comfortable beds. However, some guests mention issues with heating and uncomfortable mattresses, slightly detracting from the comfort score.
Facilities are generally good, with added conveniences like a communal laundry. Some guests experienced difficulties with heating and showers, and a few noted the kitchen could be better equipped. The lack of mobile reception is mitigated by property WiFi.
