Beautiful cottage, very well renovated. Best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in. Hosts Helen and Andrew are very welcoming and accommodating, gave fab restaurant recommendations. Good location for York & Harrogate. Farm shop next door well worth a visit. Definitely recommend ⭐️

We recently stayed in Tancred cottage from the 6-13th June. The cottage was well equipped very clean and we wanted for nothing. The welcome pack was really appreciated and the delicious cake baked by the host and also the biscuits. We would definitely recommend Tancred cottage and I’m sure we will be back in the future. We just wish we could have had a bit more sun to make use of the garden. Thank you very much to Helen for making such a fantastic host

This cottage was the perfect base for our holiday. The large, enclosed garden was safe and ideal for our dogs to explore. The house itself was spacious, warm, and very clean. It is in a fantastic location with lovely walks. Highly recommended for pet owners!
