Tancred cottage was totally renovated in 2025 and all fittings are newly installed and are of high quality. The cottage has tasteful furnishings and the beds are comfy. Equally the garden has been completely transformed with plants, lawn and hard landscaping, barbecue, and seating areas. The location is in the countryside and quiet but well positioned to visit, York, Harrogate, the moors and the dales. I would recommend this holiday home.

Beautiful cottage, very well renovated. Best equipped cottage I have ever stayed in. Hosts Helen and Andrew are very welcoming and accommodating, gave fab restaurant recommendations. Good location for York & Harrogate. Farm shop next door well worth a visit. Definitely recommend ⭐️
