Rowntree Park, a 20-acre park by the River Ouse, is close by, and a short stroll leads to the medieval walls and the vibrant city centre with its world-famous attractions. Here you will find a wonderful mix of old and new with exquisite architecture, including the magnificent Minster and a maze of cobbled streets packed with independent shops as well traditional tea rooms, including the renowned Betty’s Tea room.
