cottage is well equipped, warm and the open fire is a bonus. Downstairs lounge has enough seating and nice table for eating, which will easily accommodate 4 guests. However, the sleeping arrangements upstairs are not suitable for 4 people to be totally comfortable. Double bed in a very small bedroom, making the area very cramped, with having to share wardrobe space with the bedroom next door that has two single beds and so much more space. Would not recommend this cottage for 4 people because of this. This would sleep 3 people with shared dressing/wardrobe if the beds were changed around, but not comfortable for 4. Luckily we were only 2 guests so we managed.

The cottage was freezing when we arrived as the batteries had run out for the controls. It was posibly the coldest day of the year. When I contacted the owner she suggested I light the open fire in the living room. We then had to go out and buy our own batteries so we could turn on the heating. Why had no-one checked the hearing was on? it wasn't how we expected our weekend to start heing frozen for the firat 24 hours until the house warmed up.
