Lovely little hut, nice location for exploring the less well known villages near York. The cabins themselves could do with a little touch up and clean it was quite dusty and the shower/shower heads were mouldy, along with a very dirty kitchen bin. We were pleased to see the products for washing the pots but found no hand soap in the bathroom. The addition of the hot tub was lovely although having to walk around from the front door to the side where it was located a bit of a hassle as you are overlooked by the other huts. We only received 2 large towels for our two night stay and one hand towel. We were not provided with clean ones for our seconds day/nights stay and thankfully we took our own for the hot tub after seeing a previous review. Overall I think with a little care and attention to detail these could be a lovely little retreat for couples or families.

Had a fantastic weekend away with my wife in the Wellington. Staff were incredible, so kind and welcoming whilst doing all they could to ensure that our stay was faultless. Hot tub was brilliant, great size and was cleaned daily. Bed was very comfortable and the pod itself was a perfect size for us both. The pub was very fairly priced and the breakfast was superb. All locally sourced ingredients too! Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will be back without a doubt!

Would have been nice if there were some robes available for when using the hot tub.
