This was our third visit here. Wheatsheaf Cottage is in a lovely quiet location just outside York. It is only a few minutes drive away from the Park and Ride, with a short cheap journey into the city. The cottage is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. There is a patio area which is ideal for early evening drinks, and the village itself is very pleasant for a walk round (no pub though, you will have to go to the next village for that) Host Linda made us feel welcome, and, being in the adjacent property, was on hand for any questions or issues. All in all a very pleasant stay, and we would certainly recommend it
