This place checks every box whether you are a family with kids, or a group of people - Location, comfort, spacious, tremendous views, and to top it off, phenomenal hosts. When we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful welcome basket with different snacks, and bakery items from one of the local businesses in the area. Paddy walked us through the home and insisted that if we need anything to reach out to him. Location and space was very important to us as this was our first trip home as a family of 4, and did not know what to expect with 2 young kids (3 ½ & 6 months) with the time change, and very little sleep on a plane home. My family lives in Newry so being less than 10 minutes from everyone was ideal as we wanted to be close to them. Also the space with younger kids so needed to have them both in separate rooms. The four bedrooms worked out perfect to have the extra room in case a family member wanted to stay for the night. The house had added features that worked for us – Wifi, washer & dryer, pack & play for our youngest, family/board games, and boxes of toys for younger kids. My 3 year olds highlight of the trip was getting to meet the baby lambs in the farm attached to the property. Paddy went out of his way to bring us around the farm making our daughters trip. She still talks about the baby lambs in Ireland to this day! We cannot thank Paddy & Fiona enough for their hospitality and creating a memorable experience for me and my family. I look forward to coming back and staying again for hopefully many more years to come! Wishing you both a fantastic 2024 and hope to see you again soon!

You can enjoy peace and solitude and yet supermarkets, pubs and restaurants are quite close at hand. The generous welcome hamper gets you off to a great start.

What an excellent place this is. Firstly the beds are so comfortable and ample room in all bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped, lounge spacious, cannot fault anything it was a pleasure to stay here twice both for 7 nights each time . Paddy is an excellent host and not intrusive but on hand if needed.
