. Bayview is a charming traditional seaside cottage occupying a prime position in the picture postcard village of Collieston. Originally two fisherman’s cottages; Bayview has been sympathetically converted and extended and now provides a high standard of accommodation in a superb setting. Situated in a quiet no through lane in an elevated position above the harbour, it looks down onto the pretty horse shoe shaped sandy beach and harbour.
All rooms enjoy fantastic sea views. The pretty lounge has a welcoming open fireplace and modern sofas. The conservatory at the far end of the cottage has large windows that maximise the views; an ideal venue to spot the passing sea life; porpoises, dolphins and seals are frequently seen close to shore. There is a bright, modern kitchen/dining room. Upstairs are two beautifully presented double bedrooms and a modern family bathroom. The gardens consist of small lawn terraces let into the adjoining slopes that lead down to the sea, via a series of meandering paths.

Lovely, clean and comfortable cottage in a great location with a beautiful view of the bay. Owners kept in touch via email to check all was in order and kindly left some basic provisions to start us off. Would happily return.

Another visit to Bayview and still love everything about it. The view over the bay is to die for while the beech within the harbour is spotless. The cottage is perfect for our needs and is very well equipped. Sarah and Colin are both lovely people and full of local information and stories . The village itself is quiet although there can occasionally be busy traffic due to visitors. Oh yes and the new sofas are very comfy and yes we will return
