Our cosy and stylish holiday cabin offers a unique retreat or short break opportunity. The 6 x 3m cabin is perfect for two people, with a sense of space and good design. In a wooded area near to Redroofs by the Woods holiday cottage, and located next to farm fields, close to Balgavies Loch and Nature Reserve, and beside Montreathmont Forest. There is a sense of country calm and nature connection, but within 15 minutes of Forfar, Brechin and Montrose, with several small villages even closer. A perfect mix of country and town.
The cabin offers all the comforts of home in a compact and stylish space. Bumblebee and Barn Owl cabins sit next to each other in a wooded area, separated by privacy fencing. The cabins are a short walk down a lit gravel path from the parking area. In each cabin you will find a comfortable double bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, an en-suite shower room, a cozy table with bar stools for meals, and comfy armchairs sitting next to a small coffee table. Step outside to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views on your veranda with picnic table and chiminea. Each cabin is fully insulated and heated, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round.

Couple, mid 30's, fri-tue stay with a large well behaved labrador. Cabin is well equipped, modern and clean. Relaxing, quiet countryside location & close enough to Forfar, Arbroath & Dundee. Owners are very thoughtful, leaving essentials for the dog & great local knowledge & suggestions. I was sad it was out of season for the pool (which i didn't know til after booking) but this just means we'll be back.

The cabin was excellent limited cooking facilities but still manageable. Everything was clean and tidy and well presented. Very comfortable. Compact but functional quiet and peaceful location. Views are great. Host was welcoming and explained everthing well. Would book it again.
