The stunning property provides the perfect rural retreat for two, nestled in the foothills of the Angus Glens. The area is awash with walking a cycling trails, and you’ll also be just 14 miles from the southern edge of Cairngorms National Park. There are some fascinating nearby attractions, including Glamis Castle, just 8.5 miles away. Sleeping two guests, the lodge makes a delightful romantic bolthole and has a fabulous wood-fired hot tub for enjoying evenings together under the stars.

Stepping inside the micro lodge, you’ll find a truly magnificent setting for your holiday. With exposed woodwork, clean lines and sleek furniture, the property has an authentic Scandinavian vibe. Large patio doors frame a jaw-dropping view of the surrounding glens and flood the property with natural light.

The open-plan living area is warm and inviting, with a cosy sofa to snuggle on to watch TV or read a book. Come together for breakfast at the cute breakfast bar by the window, to watch the valley waking up as you sip your morning coffee. The carefully designed kitchen area has everything you need to rustle up a delicious meal, including a gas hob and oven. At the end of the day, sink into the sumptuous king-size bed located at the far end of the lodge. The sofa also converts into a double bed, to accommodate two further guests if required. Completing the accommodation is a stylish shower room.

Outside, there’s a delighted enclosed decked balcony, again with fabulous views. Dine alfresco on balmy summer evenings, followed by a dip in your private hot tub. You’ll also have access to the shared fire pit and BBQ hut.
